A vehicle inspection center must notify all its customers 30 days and 10 days before their inspection expires via SMS, and set up automatic recurring SMS messages every 2 years .
Example message for a new repeat SMS campaign
• Dear Customer,
• The inspection of your vehicle will expire in 10 days.
• If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call this number.
• To stop receiving our messages, reply to this SMS with the word DEL .
How to schedule customer reminders every 2 years:
1. If you don’t have an account, register here.
2. From the dashboard, go to Admin → Branches → Lists , select your list, and note down the PIN .
3. Install the GenioSms app on an Android device that will act as a Gateway .
4. After installing the app, you’ll be asked to enter the PIN and verify your phone number .
5. From the control panel, open the Send menu and select Create repeat campaign .
6. Create the repeat campaign.
7. From the Send menu, choose Send repeat campaign and click Send .
8. On the sending screen, enter the customer’s mobile number, select the SMS sending date, set the message to repeat every 2 years , and confirm.
After completing these steps, your customer will automatically receive an SMS 30 days before their vehicle inspection expires , every 2 years.
You can repeat the process to send a second message 10 days before each expiry date .
These steps can also be used to send messages to a customer list or group of friends, for example, to send Christmas greetings or other announcements.
